The Journey
Kasar was born to Daniel Adjasoo (of blessed memory) and Funmilayo Buckner as Samuel Oladotun Adjasoo on April 11th, 1996. He took to pursuing Music after his primary education at Kadara Junior High School in Lagos Nigeria where he grew up, and never looked back!
Music found Kasar at the tender age of his Sunday School Church Choir days where his singular singing ability was unearthed. This discovery would lead him to explore the lengths of his inherent music tendencies and onto the stages of Citi TV Voice factory, where he emerged as the 1st Runner Up in 2019 as “AJ Sam”.
The Young Lion
The young lion’s roar became passionately loud enough for Lynx Entertainment to sign him the following year. Kasar the artist was, however, born on 20th March, 2023, after a career switch from Urban Gospel to Afrobeat and Afrosoul. He has since then written and released Oyibo, Your Waist, and just released another promising record as a response to popular requests from his fans, Pull Up, and has been featured on Kuami Eugene and DJ Vyrusky’s Follow Who Know Road and Maya Blu’s Bad Bitch Love. He is currently a TGMA Unsung Artist Nominee, proof of his promising artistry and future as a Musical Act!
One can only anticipate what he is cooking next!
