Kuami Eugene honed his skills at songwriting and sound production at a tender age from his recording studio set up in his mother’s kitchen. After emerging third in his successful stint on the 2016 MTN Hit Maker competition, he released a string of hit songs within the first part of 2017, became The Unsung Artist of the 2017 TGMA’s.

Kuami discography that boasts chart-topping hits such as Ebeyeyie, Hiribaba, Boom Bang Bang, Angela, Wish Me Well, Open Gate, Single, I Feel Nice, Cryptocurrency, the very recent, Monica, Broken Heart, and Follow Who Know Road, just to name a few. Kuami Eugene has carved a niche for himself as a master of infectious tunes and  lyrics. His consistent dedication has along the years earned him numerous awards including ‘Artiste of the Year’ at the 2020 Ghana Music Awards, 2023 VGMA ‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ and has won this 4 years in a row in the 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Ghana Music Awards. He won ‘Best New Artiste of the Year’ at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards, ‘Producer of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards. He was awarded the ‘Most Promising Artiste in Africa’ at the 2018 AFRIMA. To attest to his songwriting genius, Love Nwantiti whose writing the RockStar Contributed to was awarded Most Performed Song of The Year at the 2022 BMI London Awards.
