Since her signing to debut, Maya Blu has been making waves in the music industry with her colourful voice and captivating dance moves. With three successful singles under her belt along with the just released EP, Just Blu On It, Maya is quickly becoming a rising superstar in the afrobeats scene and her growing fan base Blu can't get enough of her dynamic sound.

Miriam Adjei, known by her stage name, Maya Blu, was born on 6th January 2000, in Aburi to Mr. Emmanuel Wilberforce Adjei and

Mrs. Doris Adjei. She attended Morning Glory School, Anunmle for her basic school education, and an old student of St. John’s Grammar Senior High School.

Miriam started singing at the age of 15 and knew she had what it took to break into music and she did! She tried out for the MTN Hitmaker competition twice, had her "no" on the first try in the early stages of the competition but with her determination to rise as an artist, she went head on the second time and claimed her spot in the light of fame as Mimi Gold when she strived to the semi-finals. Thereafter, Maya Blu was Bluemed!

Just Blu On It

After being noticed and eventually signed to Lynx Entertainment, Maya has had a number of releases, collaborations, and shows under her belt. She has collaborated and featured on projects with the likes of Kuami Eugene, DJ Vyrusky, Mr. Drew, Lynx the Artist, DSL, st.Lennon, Kasar, and Boijake.From her first single release, Good Girl No De Pay to her recent EP release Just Blu On It, and being a TGMA Unsung Artist Nominee in 2023, her steady rise in the industry is one worth witnessing, and the fun has only begun.
